01

Privacy Policy

How Himalaya Yoga collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.

Our Commitment

We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. We treat the information you provide as private and confidential and use it only to deliver requested services, operate our website and communicate with you where permitted.

Information We Collect

Information you voluntarily provide

When you make a booking, subscribe to our newsletter, contact our service team, email us or otherwise communicate with us, you may provide information such as your name, physical address, email address, IP address, phone number, payment details, gender, location, purchase history and other demographic information.

We collect, use and retain only the information reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes, including processing bookings and enquiries, providing requested services and sending marketing material where you have consented to receive it.

Information collected automatically

When you browse our website or make a purchase, we may automatically collect information through cookies and similar technologies. This may include your device type, browser, IP address, how you arrived at the website and how you interact with it. We may use this information to monitor and improve website performance, understand usage and provide relevant advertising.

Information We Share

We may share personal information only where necessary with:

  • Payment processors that securely handle card or online transactions.
  • Website and data-hosting service providers.
  • Email providers that send booking communications and, where you have opted in, newsletters.
  • Advertising, analytics and search providers that help us understand and improve our website and marketing.
  • Business partners, suppliers and subcontractors involved in fulfilling our agreements.
  • Legal or regulatory authorities where disclosure is authorized or required by law, or necessary to protect Himalaya Yoga, our employees or our users.
  • Parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition or sale of business assets.

We may also share aggregated or anonymized information that does not directly identify you.

How We Protect Your Data

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. Sensitive payment information is encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and transactions are processed by payment providers rather than stored on our servers.

If a security breach results in unauthorized access that significantly affects you, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and explain the actions taken in response where required.

Access, Correction and Deletion

To request access to, correction of or deletion of personal information held by us, email enquiries@himalayayoga.de. We aim to respond to access requests within 30 days. You can stop receiving newsletters at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in each message.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services, fulfil agreements, resolve issues and meet legal, accounting or compliance obligations. These obligations may prevent us from deleting some historical records immediately.

Third-Party Websites and Social Media

Information you submit through a social media platform is subject to that platform’s privacy practices. Our website may also link to third-party websites whose privacy practices differ from ours. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of every external website you visit.
